Studio Roene is a full-service interior architecture and design firm led by seasoned principal designer Julia Sobrepeña King, focusing on highly customized residential and boutique commercial projects worldwide.
Based in San Francisco and Los Angeles, the studio was named a New American Voice by Architectural Digest in 2022.

With a career spanning nearly two decades, King founded Studio Roene in late 2021. After studying Psychology
and Interior Design at UCLA, King was recruited to work for some of the
country's most distinguished design firms including Charles De Lisle, Commune
Design, Waldo Fernandez, Michael S. Smith and Kelly Wearstler.
Over the years, her work has frequented the pages of Architectural Digest, Elle Decor and Wallpaper, and have included
large-scale homes for A-list celebrities to multi-generational legacy
properties, historical modernist landmarks and boutique hotels.
With time spent living in
Manila, Barcelona, Los Angeles and San Francisco, King’s experience and global worldview brings a unique and inspired perspective to every project.
